Royal Enfield launched Classic 350 & Classic 500 in India

The Royal Enfield Classic 500 is powered by a 499cc, single cylinder engine which generates maximum power of 27.2 Bhp at 5250 rpm and peak torque of 41.3 Nm at 4000 rpm. And the Royal Enfield Classic 350 is powered by a 346cc engine from Thunderbird Twinspark which generates 19.8 Bhp of maximum power at 5250 rpm with 28 Nm of maximum torque.

Some of the main attractions of this new Royal Enfield Classic 350 as well as Classic 500 are that of the traditional looking front number plate, Classic style round headlamp, Fuel tank with post war graphics, Thigh pads and single saddle seat with springs and also the Body colored frame. What is really new in the Royal Enfield Classic is a UCE (Unit Construction Engine).
This new Royal Enfield Classic 350 as well as Classic 500 features Telescopic, Hydraulic damping Suspension at the front and Swing arm with adjustable Gas filled shock absorber Suspension at the rear. It also comes with a 280mm Front Disc brake and an Internal Expanding Rear Drum Brake. This new Royal Enfield Classic 350 as well as Classic 500 with a 5-speed Gearbox features Electronic Fuel Injection System in it.
Royal Enfield has priced the Classic 500 at Rs. 1,24,000 and Classic 350 is priced at Rs. 98,800. These prices are Ex-Showroom New Delhi. The On-Road prices are expected to be around Rs. 1,40,000 for the Classic 500 & Rs. 1,10,000 for the Classic 350.

2011 Royal Enfield Fury Review and Specifications
Coming to the 2011 Royal Enfield Fury Technical Specifications, it comes powered with a 499cc powerful engine which delivers 27.2 bhp at 5250 rpm of peak power and a peak torque of 41.3 Nm (30.46 lb.ft.) at 4,000 rpm. The 2011 Royal Enfield Fury comes with a 5-speed left foot gear shift transmission. Other features of the new 2011 Royal Enfield Fury includes air cooled twin silencers, new american style original seat, wide handles to “Western”-style.
2011 Royal Enfield Fury has also got a chrome headlight and a digital instrument, and features a flat track-style fiberglass single seat unit with tail light incorporated. It comes available in three colors - white, black and “sport” white-orange combination. While the original Royal Enfield Fury was made for the U.S., the 2011 version will be a U.K. exclusive, developed by Royal Enfield’s British importer Watsonian Squire.
The price of Royal Enfield Fury will be around GBP5,800 ($9,050) in the U.K.

Favorite Production Motorcycle Honorable Mention: Royal Enfield Interceptor
I'm going to run a few "Honorable Mention bikes as I go along. The first three are posted and I have 2 selections to go. I'm squirming mightily... so sue me! lol....
This is a bike I've drooled over since I was a pup. There's about four or five fantastic British bikes I could put here. Bikes that are much more popular and more renowned. The BSA Goldstar, The Triumph T100C and the Norton Commando 750S are all contenders for a spot. But to be honest I find this bike to be much more striking than just about every other British bike on the planet. That chrome thank with the old school lettering, and the general stance and line of the bike just hits the perfect notes for me. I have a local friend who is the "go-to" british bike mechanic and he raves about this bike in looks AND engineering. He doesn't understand how they were overlooked for so many decades by British bike fans. Neither can I.
