Fiat 126 "Flat Out" 1972 Mobil Paling Pendek Di Dunia

Pernah melihat mobil yang dipergunakan Mr. Bean? Ya, mobil Morris Mini Cooper itu cukup pendek dalam ukuran mobil rata-rata. Tapi ternyata, ada mobil yang lebih pendek lagi dari mobil Mr. Bean. Wah, mobil seperti apa pula itu? Penasaran?

Fiat adalah salah satu perusahaan produsen mobil terbesar di dunia. Berjuta produknya telah beredar ke seluruh penjuru dunia. Sudah banyak jenis mobil Fiat yang menjadi primadona bagi jutaan penggemar mobil dunia. Salah satu produk Fiat yang bisa menarik perhatian dunia adalah Fiat Flat Out.

Fiat Flat Out terkenal bukan karena modelnya yang canggih, melainkan karena ukuran tingginya yang sangat ceper alias pendek. Mobil Fiat Flat Out awalnya adalah "Fiat 126" keluaran tahun 1972 yang disulap menjadi pendek. Bahkan mobil ini dinobatkan sebagai mobil umum terpendek di dunia. Tinggi mobil ini hanya sekitar 40 centimeter, atau setara dengan mesin pemotong rumput.

Keseluruhan tinggi body mobil ini, bahkan hampir sama dengan tinggi bannya. Sedangkan jarak antara body terbawah dengan permukaan tanah, hanya sekitar 6 cm. Tak heran jika mobil ini dinobatkan sebagai mobil terpendek di dunia. Seperti mobil mainan, sangking pendeknya, mobil ini bisa melewati kolong sebuah truk.

Untuk dapat mengendarai mobil ini, si pengendara harus meluruskan kakinya saat mengemudi (layaknya mengemudikan gokart). Untuk kecepatanya, Fiat Flat Out tak perlu diragukan, karena walaupun ukurannya ceper, kecepatannya tetap sama denga kebanyakan mobil normal yang ada, bisa mencapai top speed sekitar 105 km/jam.


Lucu sekali model mobil Fiat satu ini. Jangan-jangan, Mr. Bean akan mengganti Morris Mini Cooper-nya dengan Fiat Flat Out ini. Tertarik untuk membeli? (",)v

Well firstly, the new Ford Ka slightly annoyed me by evolving into nothing more than a baby Fiesta, rather than a perfectly serviceable model in its own right. Secondly, the Fiat 500 does everything just a little better than the Ka. It handles better, feels nippier and looks a lot better than the characterless shell the Ka has become. The only downside is that the 500 is slightly more expensive, but remember that you're paying for style here people!
